Set Phasers to Malky is a lowsec pirate corporation. We are a varied bunch with interests in a wide array of what EVE Online has to offer - PVP, PVE, trade and industry.

We are proud members of The Obsidian Front and support the Minmatar Militia.

Set Phasers To Malky

The core of our group has played EVE for a very long time. Too long, some might say.

We'll help you master the madness and uncover a whole world of gameplay you might've never considered - from shady tactics to glorious victories.

Before long, you'll be passing on your own hard-earned wisdom and proudly claiming your place among the bittervets.

Whether you're a rookie or a murder machine, there's a spot for you on the killboard.

PVE

PVE: Abyssal deadspace, missions, ratting and exploration - we've got you covered.

Our home is some of the best lowsec around, is close to highsec and has great access to Pochven.

Mentorship

From detailed skill plans to hands-on expereince, we'll keep you right.

Industry

Industry: We build things. Useful things. Profitable things. Occasionally explodey things. Help us craft the backbone of the corp.

Contribute by completing corporation goals, or carving out your own market.

Lowsec

Lowsec PVP: Harass the locals. Camp the stargates. Dispose of those "without a permit". Scoop the loot!

Climb the alliance killboard.

Make ISK

Lowsec PVE: Tap into the bounties of lowsec-exclusive content or quench your thirst for exploration.

Stay "safer" by sharing intel with your alliance on voice comms or using intel channels.

Strat Ops

Strategic Operations: Fleet-up under experienced FCs to further the strategic objectives of the alliance.

Defend and... expand... the homeland.

Fleet Doctrines

Doctrines: Our fleet ships are built to operate in harmony, maximizing overall effectiveness.

Skilled pilots fill a variety of roles, from Scout to DPS and logistics to capital supremacy!

The Obsidian Front

The Obsidian Front is a storied alliance with roots dating back to 2009.

After a decade-long run and a period of dormancy, the alliance was reborn in 2024 with renewed purpose - embracing a spirit of cooperation to build a tight-knit community of capsuleers.

Today, the alliance stands as a symbol of evolution and steadfast commitment to its pilots and allies alike.

Minmatar Militia

The Minmatar Militia is a fierce and resilient vanguard in New Eden, sworn to the Tribal Liberation Force and the Republic.

Forged by struggle and driven by liberation, they excel at speed, skirmish, and asymmetric warfare - turning improvisation into an art. The Militia champions freedom, defiance, and daring strategy

Loyalty Points

Pilots earn Loyalty Points by capturing complexes and running missions. Loyalty Points are exchanged for exclusive ships, modules, and other rewards.

Skill-Driven Fights

Size-restricted complexes cap hull sizes for fair(er), skill-driven engagements. Pick from Novice, Small, Medium and Large complexes to control escalation and fly what you love.

Facwar PVP

Facwar PvP is dynamic, objective-based combat between empire and pirate militias. Fights shift system control and reward LP, standings, and strategic advantage.

Immediate Action

Public beacons and visible timers funnel pilots into the same hotspots. Frontlines concentrate action, so you can undock and be in a fight within minutes.

Joining the Militia is entirely optional.
You can jump in or step away whenever it suits you.

WTF is a Malky?

Malky is a term embedded in Scottish street language and often linked with aggressive actions. Originally from Glasgow's gang culture, it refers to slashing with an open razor, a nod to the rhyming slang Malcolm (Malky) Fraser (Razor). Beyond this specific meaning, "malky" can broadly denote other forms of aggression, such as a headbutt or other physical assault.

For instance, someone might say, "Did you hear aboot wee Shug? He got malkied!" to indicate that Shug was the victim of such violence. Wee Shug probably deserved it.

The phrase "Set Phasers to Malky" is from the Scottish 90s TV sketch show "Chewin' the Fat". In one sketch, the show reimagines Star Trek's United Federation of Planets as originating from Dundee, a city known for its... distinctive... accent.

Captain McConnel is our patron saint.
