The Gnosis Royal Rumble pits every pilot against everyone else in a no-holds-barred, shield-melting, structure-shattering free-for-all!

The last capsuleer left alive in the arena isn't just the winner - they are the titan of the ticket! The juggernaut of New Eden! The undisputed Royal Rumble Champion of the world!

But the glory doesn’t end there... oh no! Special mystery titles will be bestowed upon other outstanding capsuleers after the fight!

Royal Rumble Champion

The last pilot standing - the undisputed Royal Rumble Champion of the world - will be awarded a brand new Odysseus hull! Take your victory lap across New Eden in pure STYLE, commanding the latest masterpiece in the legendary SoE line of ships!

Mystery Titles

Two stacks of 500 PLEX are on the line for pilots who earn a coveted MYSTERY TITLE. What are the criteria? Who knows, brother! The truth gets dropped only after the dust settles. One thing's for sure: the more you get involved, the better your chances of walking away with one of these crowns!

Rules and Format
 

The Rules

The rules below are designed to make this competition fair and fun for pilots of all skill levels. Restrictions on modules and implants ensure minimum bling.

  • This event is open to Obsidian Front members only.
  • You may only fly a Gnosis.
  • Only Tech 1 equipment up to meta level 4 may be used. This includes drones.
  • Tech 2, Storyline, Faction, Deadspace, Officer and Abyssal equipment may NOT be used.
  • Faction ammo is allowed.
  • No MJDs. No cloaks. No remote assistance modules.
  • No implants. You must be in a blank pod.
  • Drugs ARE allowed.
  • You may loot the field as you fight.
  • You may anchor a mobile depot and refit.
  • No other deployables are allowed.
  • You must not violate the arena boundary.

The Fight

The Royal Rumble will take place at a location near the centre of Dudreda.

  • All pilots must remain in fleet at all times.
  • The "arena" is a sphere 100km in diameter, centred around a mobile depot.
  • Pilots will warp to the centre of the areana at 50km or less, from any direction they wish.
  • You must not move or lock anyone after you exit warp - this is your starting position.
  • A countdown will be given on comms, after which the fight begins!
  • You must stay within 50km from the central mobile depot.
  • Those who stray outside arena boundary may be SHOT AT by the referee until they return to the arena or DIE!
  • The Royal Rumble CHAMPION is the last pilot to remain alive.
  • Wrestling-inspired smacktalk on comms is strongly encouraged.
